Vision
For Kerem Seçkin, music is ultimately about connection. As a composer, drummer, and producer from Istanbul, Türkiye, he approaches music as a way of bringing people together—creating shared experiences that transcend backgrounds, cultures, and musical traditions.
Drawing from jazz while remaining open to a broad range of influences, Seçkin’s work balances thoughtful composition with spontaneity, curiosity, and emotional honesty. Whether performing, composing, or producing, he is driven by a desire to create music that feels personal while resonating with others on a deeper level.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Seçkin has collaborated with artists from diverse musical backgrounds, experiences that have reinforced his belief that the most meaningful music emerges through openness, dialogue, and collective creativity.
He is currently preparing the release of his debut EP, City Sketches, a collection of original compositions written during his final years in Boston. The project reflects on a transformative period of artistic and personal growth, capturing impressions, memories, and moments from a city that became a second home. More than a portrait of a place, City Sketches represents the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.
As he continues to develop his voice as an artist, Seçkin remains committed to creating music that fosters connection, celebrates collaboration, and invites listeners into a shared experience.
